We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend in Toronto. As a Cost Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our successful Real Estate team in delivering top-notch services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive Loan Monitoring reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.
- Conduct research on construction market conditions across Canada, analyzing official published data to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with Senior Consultants and Associate Directors to identify new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Ensure effective knowledge management by documenting key information and learning from each commission.
- Participate in Quality Control processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and contribute to ISO audits.
- Assist in feasibility studies and write procurement reports to support informed decision-making.
- Contribute to value engineering and life cycle costing initiatives to optimize project outcomes.
- Work closely with Commission Managers to ensure commissions are managed efficiently and completed to the highest standards.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in loan monitoring or lender services.
- A recognized university degree in a relevant field.
- Membership in relevant professional organizations, such as CIQS or RICS, is a plus.
