RELOCATION OPPORTUNITY We anticipate relocation within the first 3-6 months of employment.

As a part of our Pumping Solutions division, we are looking for a Pump Repair and Maintenance Mechanic based in Ontario, California. The role includes a relocation expectation within the first year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and inspect pumps and associated equipment.
  • Repair or replace faulty pumps and components using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Document maintenance activities and associated costs.
  • Conduct research on various pump models, utilizing manufacturer parts lists and repair manuals.
  • Provide detailed explanations of pump or component failures in customer repair estimates.
  • Clean, paint, and lubricate pumps and parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the repair facility.
  • Ensure proper operation of the repair shop, tools, and machinery.
  • Conduct pressure testing as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with rotating equipment is essential.
  • Knowledge of pumps is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a background check, physical examination, and drug screening is mandatory.
  • Must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with company standards.
  • Ability to apply force/torque up to 100 ft/lbs.
  • Capability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate tools at various heights, considering the dimensional constraints of the pumps being serviced.
  • Compliance with OSHA safety and health regulations is required.

Physical Demands:

  • Activities include sitting, standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment: Shop Environment

Compensation: $25 - $30/Hour

Shift Requirements: Must be available for overtime as needed.

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
