Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
  • Take orders and deliver food & beverage items in a prompt manner
  • Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist with menu selections and various dietary requirements
  • Maintain accurate guest checks/folios and utilize upsell opportunities when possible
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

Requirements:

You should have:

  • Previous bartending experience, minimum 1 year, and previous food & beverage service experience in a similar setting
  • Valid Alberta ProServe certification
  • Mixology knowledge and skills preferred
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of all beverage products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proven organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
