The Role

We are seeking a skilled Geological Field Technician to join our exploration team, striving to discover the next generation of uranium deposits. As a key member of our team, you will provide geotechnical and geological support to all Saskatchewan field programs, including logging of downhole geophysical drill holes, processing drill core and data collection, and maintaining and calibrating equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide geotechnical and geological support to all Saskatchewan field programs
  • Log drill holes and process drill core and data collection
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment and vehicles
  • Assist with other camp responsibilities as required
  • Complete drill site inspections and communicate safe work procedures to all contractors on site

Requirements

  • Geological technician certificate or diploma
  • One or more years of relevant work experience in an exploration environment
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Safety-oriented work attitude
  • Ability and willingness to perform manual labor, including heavy lifting, as required for this position
  • Work a rotational schedule during field season

Preferred Qualifications

  • First aid training, TDG, WHMIS, ATV/snow machine certification, boat safety training
  • Experienced in MS Office
