Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a recognized senior project manager in environmental site evaluations, including Phases 1, 2, and 3, as well as environmental rehabilitation efforts;
  • Develop conceptual frameworks for site challenges and rehabilitation options;
  • Assist the site characterization and rehabilitation team in establishing standards, procedures, templates, and oversee team training;
  • Coordinate and technically supervise multiple professionals with diverse expertise across various locations;
  • Act as a peer reviewer for several projects;
  • Provide technical assistance to colleagues on various projects;
  • Validate data interpretation and problem-solving for clients;
  • Collaborate with other teams for resource sharing and professional development;
  • Master hydrogeology to accurately conceptualize sites during Phase II and III assessments;
  • Participate in significant multidisciplinary projects;
  • Manage project personnel and subcontractors effectively;
  • Prepare professional service proposals, including budget assessments;
  • Oversee project phases while ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timelines;
  • Manage client relationships with professionalism;
  • Work closely with leadership and key clients;
  • Provide technical training to team members;
  • Develop annual project execution plans;

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geological engineering, civil engineering, or related environmental fields;
  • Over 10 years of experience in environmental characterization and rehabilitation;
  • Membership in a recognized professional association;
  • Proficient in French;
  • Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams;
  • Knowledge of Quebec environmental regulations;
  • ASP Construction certification is required;
  • Possession of a driver's license and vehicle;
  • Demonstrated autonomy, methodical approach, responsibility, resourcefulness, and punctuality;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
