About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Knox Mountain Market Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and packaging take-out food.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and ensure prompt and courteous service.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, clean and sanitize kitchen areas, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
