Job Title: Senior Server Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Server Administrator to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and administering on-premise server infrastructure and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement server infrastructure and cloud services using industry and security best practices.
  • Administer and troubleshoot server environments, including Microsoft on-premise servers, Azure cloud environment, VMware vSphere, and Hyper-V.
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance to the team on server and cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement server patch management processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise and Solution Architecture team to establish scalable server and storage solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of recent and practical server administration experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent and practical senior server administration experience.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft on-premise server design, implementation, and administration.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Cloud (0365, Azure) design, implementation, and administration.
  • Proven proficiency in VMware vSphere design, implementation, and administration.
  • Proven proficiency in Hyper-V architecture, design, and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • North American job experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be required to work and be located on-site at our Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Occasional travel to support offices across the province will be required.
