Job Description:

beBee Professionals is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support our team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will have a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and will be able to identify and address any potential compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze changes in applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide guidance and advice to management on compliance matters.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and review internal processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
