Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Comfort Keepers Victoria. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, and assist with feeding
  • Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
