Job Title: Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team at Youth Impact Jeunesse Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Site Environment: Child welfare.
  • Tasks: Housekeeping activities, food preparation, providing suicide and crisis intervention, supervising activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, child welfare check.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, judgement, client focus, team player.
  • Screening Questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work? Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
