Emergency Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, and contributing to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to determine the best course of action for their care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families/caregivers to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families/caregivers, and the interprofessional care team.
- Ability to work collaboratively and promote cooperation among team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
