As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will work alongside Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to assist clients with various aspects of daily living. Your compassion and expertise will make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

  • Direct Client Care: Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and meal preparation.
  • Home Environment Support: Maintain a safe and healthy environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks and ensuring the client's home is comfortable and organized.
  • Mobility Assistance: Support clients with mobility needs, including transfers and ambulation, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Observation and Reporting: Carefully observe clients' behavior and condition, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Delegated Tasks: Perform delegated tasks as per training and established procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility with shifts that may vary and be scheduled on short notice. Casual employees have the potential to apply for permanent and temporary positions within Interior Health.
