Home Support Scheduling Specialist - Relief Position
Interior Health Authority is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to fill a temporary role as a Relief Home Support Scheduler in Castlegar, BC.
About the Role:
As a Home Support Scheduler, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing home support services for clients within our community. Your responsibilities will encompass scheduling appointments, matching clients with qualified Community Health Workers, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules for Home Support Services, optimizing resource allocation and client needs.
- Process incoming service referrals and updates, accurately documenting client information and requests.
- Assess client requirements and match them with suitable Community Health Workers based on their skills and experience.
- Schedule and adjust Community Health Worker appointments, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
- Confirm completion of client services, maintaining accurate records and communication with relevant parties.
- Manage timekeeping procedures for Community Health Workers, ensuring accurate record-keeping and payroll processing.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a recognized Office Administration program or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in a scheduling or administrative role within a healthcare setting preferred.
- Proficiency in typing with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
