Race Track Maintenance Superintendent Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Race Track Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at Woodbine Entertainment Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our racing track, ensuring a safe and efficient racing environment for our drivers and spectators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of maintenance workers and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure optimal track maintenance and racing operations.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to ensure effective team performance.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in track maintenance and operations.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
