Position Overview:

This is a Permanent / Full-Time position that offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $135,000 CAD per annum, along with a variety of benefits designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine therapeutic procedures and veterinary surgeries, both routine and emergency.
  • Manage patient records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Oversee post-operative care and ensure the well-being of patients.
  • Engage with pet owners to discuss preventive healthcare and treatment options.
  • Provide a range of veterinary services, including vaccinations, dental care, and nutrition management.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  • Collaborate with a network of over 1,000 veterinarians to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in veterinary medicine, with 4-5 years of university education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in small animal medicine, specifically with cats and dogs.
  • Completion of national certification examinations or equivalent qualifications.
  • Provincial licensing in British Columbia or the ability to obtain it.
  • Strong surgical skills and proficiency in anesthesia protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude.
  • A genuine passion for animal care and client education.
