Senior Software Engineer

NTT DATA Services is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Solutions team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in software development, particularly in DevOps tools and application hosting platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and container orchestration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy) and bash scripting.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement automated testing and deployment strategies.
  • Manage and provision AWS resources utilizing CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Leverage Kubernetes architecture and Helm for container orchestration and deployment.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure as code.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins (Groovy) and bash scripting.
  • Proven expertise in AWS cloud services and tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture, Helm charts, and container orchestration concepts.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, blue-green deployments, and RDS.
