We're seeking a talented co-op candidate who is passionate about engineering technology and eager to develop their integrated digital delivery experience and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the IDD team with document production to enable IDD for project execution, utilizing Excel and other integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with the team on CAD production and 3D modeling activities.
  • Contribute to developing algorithmic processes and scripting, including Dynamo, Python, LISP, and VBA.
  • Assist with 3D model coordination and clash detection and reporting.
  • Support the team with systems setup and management – Assemble systems and BIM 360.
  • Perform design coordination and assist in identifying constructability issues with the project team and subcontractors using model coordination/clash detection.
  • Report on information modeling quality.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of industry experience.
  • Post-graduate diploma in BIM Management.
  • Proficient with 3D modeling architectural, structural, and civil utility elements.
  • Able to read construction drawings and understand standards.
  • Working knowledge of software: Civil 3D, Assemble, Navisworks, Synchro pro, and Fuzor.
  • Knowledge of using CDE Environments ACC, BIM 360.
  • Experience or knowledge with 4D simulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and strong commitment to achieving goals within tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and efficient communication skills with a positive attitude.
