Electrical Estimator Job Description

Turner & Townsend Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our cost planning team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for electrical systems on various projects across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present cost plans for electrical systems, including estimating and cost checking.
  • Manage estimating and cost planning activities, ensuring effective cost analysis and valuation.
  • Participate in value engineering, LEED analysis, and life cycle costing to optimize project costs.
  • Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of post-graduate experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and procurement processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad Navisworks, and other related software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
