We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at WELL Health Clinic Network. This role involves providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages in a variety of settings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather medical histories from patients and their families
  • Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose health conditions
  • Assist patients in developing and maintaining healthy lifestyles
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assess patient health
  • Prescribe medications and implement treatment plans
  • Administer vaccinations and preventative care
  • Provide health education and advice to patients
  • Report relevant health data to appropriate authorities
  • Act as an advocate for patient needs
  • Manage primary care for patients
  • Deliver acute care as necessary
  • Offer counseling and support for health-related issues
  • Oversee home care services as required
Supervision Responsibilities

Supervise staff across various functions to ensure quality patient care.

Certifications and Licenses
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Provincial or territorial licensure
