Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Community Therapists. As a Community Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients in their homes and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients
- Supervise and mentor rehabilitation assistants to ensure high-quality care
- Develop and implement gym and pool-based activation programs to promote client engagement and progress
- Liaise with healthcare teams, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
- Current membership with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) or eligibility for registration
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Experience with standardized assessments and treatment planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with insurance payers is an asset
