Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Conners Transfer Limited. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for overseeing the condition of our vehicles, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments and repairs.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure efficient route planning.
  • Manage transportation documentation, including bills of lading, driver logbooks, and inspection reports.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid passport.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity licence check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
