As a Manager within our Assurance & Accounting division, you will lead a diverse group of professionals committed to addressing the unique needs of our clients. Your role as a trusted advisor will involve delivering comprehensive and tailored financial insights that empower clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee client-facing engagement teams to execute audits, compliance tax projects, budgeting, internal controls, and financial/accounting transactions.
- Provide industry-specific and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports, management presentations, and high-quality deliverables.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business and key risks, while ensuring their needs are met and relationships are nurtured.
- Responsible for engagement planning, scheduling, and managing project financials, including budgets, work in progress, timely billing, collections, and variance recognition.
- Uphold quality control standards and apply specialized knowledge to proactively identify and address issues relevant to clients' businesses and financial reports.
- Engage with the local business community to explore business development opportunities and contribute to the creation and delivery of competitive proposals.
- Mentor and guide team members in their professional and personal growth by establishing clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Be prepared to travel as necessary.
Required Skills and Experience
- CPA designation is essential.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
- Strong grasp of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
- Demonstrated people management, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities.
