About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Dover Auto Centre Ltd. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport trucks, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Parts Replacement and Adjustment: Replace or adjust parts and components as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Diagnostic and Testing: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues and test repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Working Conditions

As an Automotive Technician at Dover Auto Centre Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. You will be required to work 35 hours per week and have strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
