Job Title: Plasma CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Plasma CNC Machine Operator to join our team at Marcon Metalfab, Inc. in Delta, Tilbury Park facility.

About the Role:

As a Plasma CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art plasma beamlines, plasma plate tables, and other equipment. You will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient production of high-quality steel products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain plasma cutting equipment, including plasma beamlines and plasma plate tables.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience with laser or plasma cutting of steel.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings, safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multitasking and prioritizing.
