About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Ahluwalia Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on logistics operations, including inventory levels, transportation schedules, and any issues or concerns.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Coordinate and arrange for transportation of goods and materials, including scheduling and tracking of shipments.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Improvement
    • Identify and resolve operational issues, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Language
    • English language proficiency
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week
