Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at NT & T Floor Design. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning as necessary.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure and cut underlay, underpadding, carpeting, and resilient floor coverings to ensure a precise fit.
  • Install Flooring: Install hardwood floors, resilient floor coverings, and carpeting on floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Inspect and Repair: Inspect installed flooring for damage and repair or replace as necessary.
  • Conduct Pre-Installation Tests: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Load and Transport Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in flooring installation.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
