Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Galaxy One Group. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce websites and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop front-end and back-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Work with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with our designers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our existing systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 6 months of experience in web development, preferably with e-commerce platforms.
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and back-end frameworks like PHP and MySQL.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems, including design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with popular PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Yii 2.
  • Knowledge of website security best practices and experience with security measures such as SSL certificates.
  • Experience with payment gateways, such as PayPal or CyberSource.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and practices.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms.
