About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement BIM Execution Plans: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement BIM Execution Plans that meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordinate BIM Teams: Lead and coordinate BIM teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of BIM models and data.
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage Clash Detection and Resolution: Identify and resolve clashes between different design disciplines to ensure a clash-free design.
  • Train and Develop BIM Designers: Provide training and guidance to BIM designers to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and Improve Processes: Identify areas for improvement in our BIM processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience in BIM Coordination: Proven experience in BIM coordination, with a strong understanding of BIM processes and industry standards.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley Products: Strong knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley products, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
  • ISO 19650 Certification: Certification in ISO 19650 processes is an asset.
