Quality Control Inspector Opportunity

BRC Group - Tayco and BRC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector. As a key member of our Operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine quality assessments on manufactured materials and outgoing products.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare to standards.
  • Document inspection findings and complete detailed reports and performance records.
  • Educate production teams on quality control processes and acceptance/rejection criteria.
  • Reject non-conforming components or products and initiate replacement.
  • Provide data to the EH&S Quality Coordinator as required.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to develop recommendations for quality program improvements.
  • Participate in ISO external audits and Industry BIFMA Levels audit processes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a Quality Control Inspector capacity in the furniture/wood manufacturing/warehousing environment.
  • Knowledge of Quality Control processes and analytical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to lift and handle loads up to 50lbs.
  • Experience with various measurement instruments and reading Engineering drawings.
  • Self-motivated with a customer satisfaction focus and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, 2020 Insight, Smartsheet, AutoCAD viewer, GoTo Meeting, and Solidworks PDM.

Working Conditions:

  • Hours of Work: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
