Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee the accounting and finance functions for all accounting entities. This key role will be responsible for project management during organizational changes and major initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
    • Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting
    • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Internal Controls and Audits
    • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
    • Manage audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Financial Systems and Processes
    • Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Manage financial software and systems to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals to ensure the successful execution of financial operations.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education
    • CPA designation.
  • Experience
    • 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
    • Public practice experience with non-profit organizations.
