Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting their full potential.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and ensure that the restaurant is operating within budget.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Language: English.
As a Shift Manager at McDonald's Restaurant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of noise and odors. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet the demands of the restaurant.
