About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Venetian blind installer to join our team at Novo Blinds. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation Planning: Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures for each job, taking into account the specific requirements of the customer and the properties of the blind.
  • Measurement and Preparation: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, and prepare and maintain work materials and supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, as well as to perform other tasks related to the installation of blinds.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that installations are completed to the highest standard, and by being responsive to customer queries and concerns.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other members of the installation team to ensure that installations are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, client focus, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The installation team works in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Work Schedule: The installation team works a standard 30-hour week, with occasional overtime required to meet customer demands.
