Job Title: Bookkeeper

A SQUARE ACCOUNTING is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, organized, reliable, team player, and good time management skills.
