Mechanical Systems Specialist

Brandt Developments is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technologist to join our team in Regina. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the analysis, design, and detailing of mechanical systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement mechanical system designs, including layouts, schematics, and specifications, to meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare and review contract drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with clients, authorities, and contractors to ensure project success and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct preliminary mechanical layout options and cost estimates to meet client needs and budget constraints.
- Perform contract administration duties, including submittal reviews, site inspections, and meeting minutes.
- Review and improve upon engineering designs, drafting, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
- 3+ years of experience in a consulting office, with expertise in design development, detailed design, design coordination, and contract administration construction services.
- Certificate in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Proficiency in AutoDESK Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Strong work ethic, team-oriented, and detail-focused individual with excellent communication skills.
