Testing Specialist

Brandt Group of Companies is actively looking for a Testing Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Platform Lead, the Testing Specialist will be tasked with identifying, implementing, and executing effective physical testing methodologies to ensure product performance validation. This role also involves compiling data reports and testing outcomes that align with design expectations, as well as aiding in the creation of a comprehensive Design Criteria database for Brandt's diverse product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Formulate risk-reducing testing strategies and plans that facilitate the efficient launch of products into the market.
  2. Organize, coordinate, and oversee the systematic testing of products.
  3. Confirm the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) through data collection, focusing on load scenarios and critical area assessments.
  4. Collaborate with the platform team lead to secure necessary certifications, licenses, and other qualifications essential for executing test plans.
  5. Ensure the maintenance of company tools and equipment to support testing activities.
  6. Undertake additional specialized tasks and projects as required.
Required Qualifications
  1. Professional Engineer or graduate in Instrumentation Engineering Technology with over 5 years of experience.
  2. Significant hands-on experience in product testing and data collection technologies.
  3. Strong mechanical background.
  4. Capability to operate trucks, tractors, farm machinery, and/or construction equipment is a definite advantage.
  5. Class 1 Driver's license is beneficial.
  6. Proficiency in SolidWorks, eDrawings, and FEA analysis.
  7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. A logical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  9. Willingness to travel and work in various environments (office, production area, outdoors, etc.).
  10. Strong work ethic.
Performance Indicators
  1. Development of effective and efficient testing protocols that lead to successful product launches.
  2. Correlation of FEA analysis with real-world outcomes.
  3. Establishment of a comprehensive Design Criteria database.
  4. Creation of detailed test reports and provision of product enhancement recommendations to design engineers.
