Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure that our food service team is adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
- Train Staff in Job Duties: Train new staff members in their job duties, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required: Estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered in a timely manner.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to join our team.
- Ensure Quality Control Standards: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, including food safety and hygiene.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
- Provides Physical Accessibility Accommodations: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators, to ensure that our restaurant is accessible to all customers.
- Provides Visual Accessibility Accommodations: Provide visual accessibility accommodations, such as braille and screen readers, to ensure that our restaurant is accessible to customers with visual impairments.
- Provides Auditory Accessibility Accommodations: Provide auditory accessibility accommodations, such as transcription software and teletypewriters, to ensure that our restaurant is accessible to customers with hearing impairments.
- Participates in Government or Community Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, such as mentorship and coaching programs.

- Assists with Immediate Settlement Needs: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, such as housing, transportation, and childcare.

- Participates in Government or Community Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, such as mentorship and coaching programs.
- Offers On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, including food preparation and serving.
- Participates in Government or Community Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans, such as mentorship and coaching programs.
- Offers Flexible Onboarding Options: Offer flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.
- Participates in Government or Community Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, such as mentorship and coaching programs.
- Develops and Maintains Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

- Applies Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
