In this role, you will:
- Deliver technical proficiency and take charge of the operations and upkeep of various Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Talent/Performance, Recruiting, etc.)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain system documentation and design solutions that meet expressed business requirements
- Oversee testing and deployment of configurations for the functional areas you manage and assist with other areas as necessary
- Act as a primary liaison, taking the lead and working with implementation partners on all deployment activities, providing updates to affected team members
- Stay informed about Workday Architecture across various employee groups, offering expertise on the interconnections among functional areas and the implications for security, business processes, data quality, integration, and reporting due to configuration changes and system updates
- Coordinate with Business Subject Matter Experts to demonstrate new features, develop solutions, and create communication or training materials for impacted user groups
- Post-deployment, provide technical support, maintenance, and system administration, including troubleshooting issues, managing integrations, and offering training and assistance to end users
- Collaborate with other technical teams on modifications and enhancements to integrations (WQL, DaaS, SOAP, REST, etc.)
- Manage data for the functional areas you oversee, including Reporting/BI/Dashboard and other data visualization solutions, user experience design, and the creation of custom solutions as needed
Is this the right opportunity for you?
- 2-3 years of direct experience with HCM solutions (Workday preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet tools, web services, query languages, or other data analysis languages
- Previous experience in Workday Functional consulting and/or Workday deployment is highly regarded, with recent Workday Training within the last two releases being advantageous
- Workday Certification is a plus
- Understanding of unionized workforces is beneficial
