About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Machine Operator to join our team at Recyclage Hana Inc. as a key member of our plastics processing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
  • Material Handling: Place weighed materials in mixing machines and unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing.
  • Extrusion Operations: Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die.
  • CNC Machine Operations: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to precision-cut and shape plastic materials.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plastics processing or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
