About the Role

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences in our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sales Performance: Supervise and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer interaction is a positive and memorable experience, aligning with Burberry's brand values and strategies.
  • Category Management: Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales for assigned categories, including training and coaching sales associates on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Team Development: Develop and retain talented employees by recognizing and rewarding performance, and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Store Operations: Assist with the opening and closing of the store, including securing doors, windows, and merchandise, and ensuring that all procedures are followed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales, with a proven track record of driving sales performance and developing high-performing teams.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of point-of-sale systems and experience with digital tools, including Apple mobile devices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to use a fluent and professional dialogue with clients and staff.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle complex customer service issues and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
