We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Generalist Programmer to join our team at Snowed In Studios Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our client studios' games to life.

About the Role

As a Senior Generalist Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and debugging game features, working closely with client studios to ensure their vision is realized. You will also be involved in game toolsets and pipelines, analyzing and optimizing runtimes, and collaborating with designers to implement their creative vision.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of professional experience in game development
  • Advanced programming skills in C++ and C# with a strong understanding of the fundamentals
  • Experience with game engines, primarily Unreal Engine
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in large codebases
  • Comfortable with vector and matrix math and good with algorithms
  • Experience with console development (PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, etc.) and mobile development a plus

Additional Information

  • Primary Working Language: English
  • Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000
  • This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in Ontario/Quebec and be within commutable distance to the studio in Ottawa.
