Smart Systems Technology Solutions Expert

Key Responsibilities:- Develop performance specifications and design solutions by reviewing job specifications and drawings.
- Collaborate with clients to finalize designs and create tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Conduct site and tender walkthroughs to ensure accuracy and identify potential solutions.
- Focus on onboard and off-board vehicle systems, including PA, PIDs, GIDs, Farecard, Radio, and Train control.
- Design solutions such as harnesses, bracketry, and installation practices that meet industry standards.
- Participate in prototyping and create installation design documentations that are clear and concise.
- Produce assessment reports from on-site installation reviews that provide valuable insights.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, and resolve ambiguities.
- Collaborate with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless component and system integration.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support to sales activities.
- Attend handover meetings with the project management team to ensure a smooth transition.
- A minimum of five years of engineering experience within the electrical construction industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of smart systems, including wiring for building automation, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and mechanical systems.
- An Electrical Engineering degree or diploma, or related education and/or trade experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
