About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Renovation Contractor to join our team at SK HOME DESIGNS. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of residential renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Organization
    • Develop and implement project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of renovation projects.
    • Coordinate with trade subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
    • Verify the quality of work performed by subcontractors and take corrective action as needed.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
    • Communicate project progress and any issues that may arise to customers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Estimating and Bidding
    • Prepare detailed estimates and bids for residential renovation projects.
    • Collaborate with customers and architects to develop project scope and specifications.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Develop and maintain a directory of reliable trade contractors and suppliers.
    • Source and procure materials and equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in residential renovation or a related field.
  • Work Environment
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Work Language
    • English.
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week.
