Position Overview:
The Senior Internal Auditor plays a crucial role in overseeing and executing audit assignments on a daily basis. This position involves performing operational, financial, and compliance audits while also providing advisory services to the organization's management and staff.
The Senior Internal Auditor upholds both organizational and professional ethical standards, ensuring that all internal audit activities align with the Global Internal Audit Standards set forth by The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Qualifications:- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
- Pursuing CPA or an equivalent certification, along with an audit designation such as CIA, CFE, or CISA, is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of full-time experience in internal auditing is necessary.
- Candidates should possess skills and knowledge in financial, operational, and compliance risk management, as well as familiarity with IIA standards and not-for-profit accounting regulations.
