Dr A Korada Inc is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for dental examinations by assisting with seating, gathering medical history, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized dental laboratory by ordering supplies and managing inventory.
  • Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure the highest standards of hygiene by sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
  • Provide chairside support during dental procedures, including polishing teeth, applying fluoride and sealants, and taking impressions.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, confirming patient bookings, and recording treatment details.
  • Process patient invoices and handle billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Dental Assistant program from a recognized college or CEGEP.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Dental Care Assistant in a dental practice setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health records systems.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain composure under pressure is essential.
