Join Our Team as a Social Worker/Psychotherapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker/Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide assessment and counseling services to clients who have experienced trauma, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord, and complex orthopedic injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and counseling services to clients with trauma, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord, and complex orthopedic injuries
  • Interface with medical, legal, and insurance systems to ensure comprehensive care
  • Connect clients with relevant community-based resources and services
  • Advocate for clients to access community-based resources that improve their well-being
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to rehabilitation goals
  • Provide detailed, comprehensive reports as part of the medical-legal system
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or degree in Psychotherapy with a minimum of two years clinical experience
  • Current registration with the OCSWSSW and Ontario Association of Social Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
  • Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle
  • Superior technical, verbal, and written communication skills
