Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Social Worker II to join our team at The Royal Mental Health Centre. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide direct support, therapeutic interventions, and education to veterans, couples, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and comprehensive written bio-psycho-social assessments
  • Develop and conduct groups at the clinic and outreach locations
  • Function as an effective member of an interprofessional team
  • Liaise and consult with relevant community agencies and service providers
  • Participate in academic activities, including teaching and supervision of students
  • Maintain work load measurement and data collection
  • Provide education with various stakeholders
  • Design individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs
  • Coordinate care among internal and external service providers
  • Write comprehensive discharge reports with follow-up recommendations
  • Utilize tele-mental health and other distance technologies
  • Build effective collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Social Worker providing services in Mental Health
  • Training in evidence-based therapies for PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and knowledge of substance misuse
  • Knowledge of mental health best practices, community services, and crisis response
  • Experience working in an interprofessional service delivery model
Salary Range

$44.67 to $57.90 per hour
