About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at Sonepar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, log, track, file, and monitor customer and vendor supplied documentation and technical correspondence.
  • Set up document control records, archive project information, and prepare project data books.
  • Respond to document requests and submissions.
  • Generate and distribute reports as required by project.
  • Handle file documents by electronically scanning documents and maintaining data files.
  • Upload documentation to SharePoint site/Customer Portals.
  • Set up and assemble project data books.
  • Ensure all documentation is consistent and adheres to internal standards.
  • Archive all Project Documentation and Project Close-out.
  • Liaise with Sales Representative, Project Specialist, and Management.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma in business administration or related field.
  • Problem-solving skills, information gathering, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in data entry, administrative, and/or document control.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to meet project timelines and perform in a high-pressure and team-based environment.
