Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Apple Hotel Group. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of painters and decorators, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including costs, timelines, and quality control.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
