Licensed Mechanic

First Student Shared Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team. As a Licensed Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of school buses.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including brakes, engine tune-ups, and transmission clutches.
- Lead preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and maintain records of all maintenance work completed.
- Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
- Adhere to First Student standards, policies, and procedures.
- Valid Mechanic license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Advanced problem-solving ability.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
