Job Title: Licensed Mechanic

First Student Shared Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team. As a Licensed Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of school buses.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including brakes, engine tune-ups, and transmission clutches.
  • Lead preventative maintenance and safety inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Mechanic license.
  • Advanced problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work assigned shift.
